monetizationupdates_and_maintenanceservicelevels are everything, don't be fooled by the free download, it's impossible to compete without paying for any in app purchases. and the frequent updates boosting 1-2 cards so much that you HAVE to have them in your deck, but also making sure that it's evo so you have to pay for it makes the game genuinely painful to play. Just save yourself your time because it's also extremely addictive.

That said, rewards are getting worse (the question mark boxes suck and are overtaking loot chests on daily rewards), and it is getting to be more pay-to-win with the introduction of evos. It's not too horrible at the moment and doesn't take too much money (you'd be fine with like $10-$15 a month), but want this standard and downward trend understood before new people try the game. Honestly, probably wouldn't have reviewed if not for the daily chests change

loginuser_data_and_privacycustomer_supporti had a supercell id, lots of data, evolutions and most cards in the game, I got a new phone, logged in with the same account, instead of having lots for trophies and other stuff that I had, it removed all of it, and now I have less then 10 and all my previous stuff gone, because of supercell id and how stupid it can be, been trying to get it back, but no it won't let me
